  36. Hello out there, there are some more chips. All of them were cloned by NEC and appear to understand some 186/286 instructions such as PUSHA, POPA, and
  37. some more I don't remember. They are baked of CMOS and thus need less power
  38. than the others. Furthermore, they are pin-compatible to the original Intel 
  39. chips. For old PC's with 8086 or 8088 CPU, there is a special V20 BIOS 
  40. which makes use of those extra instructions that I mentioned (at least in
  41. Germany at EMedia, Hannover). This accelerates a bit. Following chips exist:

  44. V30    similar to 8086
  45. V40               80188
  46. V50               80186.
