  20. You have hit upon something that's bugged me ever since DPaint 4 was released.
  21. DPaint 4 supports new methods of non-linear color cycling.  That is, your
  22. colors can come from anywhere in the pallete.  In previous DPaints cycles were
  23. required to be linear... no colors out of order.

  25. It's a great new method of color cycling and I like it alot, but it seems
  26. that none of the billions of picture/anim viewer programmer/authors decided
  27. to release an update to support the new method.  Even AmigaVision chokes
  28. on the new color cycling method (since DPaint IV was released after AmigaVision
  29. was).

  31. Here at Arizona State University where I help teach three Amiga graphics
  32. courses, I have a tough time explaining to students why they can't see the
  33. color cycling when using SuperView or AmigaVision.

  35. I've posted this question here before, and received no replies.  I find it
  36. hard to believe it's that difficult to get specs on the new cycle modes that
  37. no-one can update their anim viewer.

  39. In any case, now that everyone will be releasing AGA IFF viewers... PLEASE
  40. include support for DPaint 4's new style of color cycling.  I'd appreciate it!
