- The basic idea with the fixes, the CSD and any other patches is if you
- don't need them or are not sure of what you are doing don't use them.
-
- The CSD fixes some problems that had no work-around. It does introduce
- a couple of other bugs wich are cosmetic in nature. For example, you
- might lose the ability to use alt-home to switch between full and
- windowed dos sessions. You can still use other methods to make the
- switch.
-
- Additionally, some people have had trouble installing it, mostly because
- they did not read the readme file and other directions.
-
- Lastly, some people (myself excluded) have had trouble with the new
- video drivers for the tseng cards. Scrolling in a dos window appears to
- have slowed down when using hi-res video drivers, but full screen
- appears to be just as fast as before.
-
- One more thing. By using the tseng drivers I have lost the ability to
- run dos graphics programs in a window. This is not big deal since
- before they were really slow anyhow.
-
- If you want answers to a specific question, post something in
- comp.os.os2.misc and you're sure to get some sort of reply. Also, try
- reading the FAQ on hobbes.
-
- Good luck.
