  13. This is my first posting so please excuse any lay-out problems.
  14. I have a problem with OS/2 2.0 . When I start up my machine and choose
  15. the OS/2 partition in boot manager, I get as far as my graphic   
  16. background : default white. Then I get a SYS3173 error and a
  17. menu to end the program or see help. The help says the error
  18. was a breakpoint generated in pmwp.dll at 1ab25704.
  19. Choosing end program just regenerated the same error a couple of
  20. seconds later.
  21. If anyone is interested in all the registers I will post it, but I
  22. don't think it will help a lot.
  23. I was having some problems before this all happened.
  24. The icons from my desktop didn't appear on startup and the right-button
  25. menu for the desktop was incomplete : no shutdown option.
  26. I then did a find on folder objects in my desktop directory and moved
  27. them back to the desktop. After this I did ctrl-alt-del and got the
  28. breakpoint. I'd appreciate it if anyone out there could give me any
  29. suggestions on how to clean up this mess, otherwise I'll just have to
  30. reinstall everything. By the way this is just the GA edition without
  31. any patches.
