- This *might* be an intended effect. The Window Open Animation on
- the GA release was so quick that you barely could notice it.
- So this animation has been slowed down a lot. If you are annoyed
- by it, switch animation off (somewhere in the System settings).

- If windows open slower now *without* animation, aarrghll...
- that's probably not the video driver but something more
- deeply buried in the system.
