  23. This *might* be an intended effect. The Window Open Animation on
  24. the GA release was so quick that you barely could notice it.
  25. So this animation has been slowed down a lot. If you are annoyed
  26. by it, switch animation off (somewhere in the System settings).

  28. If windows open slower now *without* animation, aarrghll...
  29. that's probably not the video driver but something more
  30. deeply buried in the system.
