- Well, I too am using the 1X7X256 drivers... when running wingif seamlessly
- the picture in wingif comes out fine perfect, just as i expected... however
- the background gets all messed up. it's not until after i quit wingif
- does it refresh the screen and clean up everything. (i think this is
- normal behavior though due to the way the palatte is implemented.)
-
- however, my problem is that when i put a 256 colored picture in the back-
- ground, it looks strange. what i mean is that when i compared the picture
- that was displayed in wingif against the one which i displayed in the
- background (w/o wingif running to make sure nothing is screwing w/ the backg.
- pic.) the one in the back ground looks as if it's been dithered really
- bad. (not to 16 color though.) the image is somewhat choppy, plus some
- of the colors used are really bad... (like the red is really red or
- something...) in essence, wingif blows it away... (i never had this problem
- while using windows... anyone know's what the problem is or have answers
- to what's happening?
