- One of the nice things about seamless drivers is that you can
- run After Dark for Windows, and have it blank your desktop.
- I did this for a while when I first installed OS/2 2.0, but
- when it activated it upset the palette in whatever session
- I was working (DOS and OS/2 full-screen sessions). I
- reported this as a bug, but had no reply.
-
- Anyhow, it's still a problem with the SP and 800x600x256
- Tseng 4000 drivers. What I believe is happening is that
- AfterDark accesses the hardware directly, one of the
- good/bad things (depending on your point of view) that OS/2
- allows. Would I be correct in assuming there's no way out?
-
- I have found a partial solution - just don't run any of the
- modules that change the palette.
