- Help! One of my most used OS/2 features is broken with the CSD and
- SVGA. I can no longer window any DOS grahics programs - I always get
- the following message: "The system does not support this session's
- video mode in a window. The program cannot continue running in a
- window." I am using a Diamond Speedstar at 640x480x256. I did the
- following steps:
-
- - full reinstall of the GA - regular VGA - no SVGA ON
- - windowed DOS graphics programs work fine.
- - installed CSD - comes up in 640x480x16
- - windowed DOS graphics programs work fine.
- - ran selective install - left video type as SVGA
- - shuffled GA disks 7-18 for fonts, etc.
- - picked 640x480x256 as resolution
- - shuffled CSD display driver disks
- - comes up 640x480x256
- - now no DOS graphics programs will run in a window.
-
- I also tried SVGA OFF, vmode monitor, SVGA ON - no effect.
-
- Please help! Without windowed dos apps, my system is pretty much
- useless.
