  23.    Hi Matt!  Welcome to the wonderful world of porting Linux to the Amiga.

  25. to the 680x0 channel.  (See other posts on how to join the mailing list)

  27.    The reason that the amiga directory is protected under the amigaftp 
  28. group is that we are trying to limit how far it travels.  The only people
  29. so far that have access to the directory are those people actively doing
  30. work on the kernel.  Right now, the 0.00 release is a bootloader and a 
  31. serial test code.  There's no task switcher, there's no keyboard driver,
  32. there's no console display, etc.  That stuff is being written.  The 680x0
  33. channel is there for people who want to influence the design of the amiga
  34. kernel as it starts up.  Join in!

  36.    We'll release the amiga directory when we put together a more interesting
  37. kernel, never fear.
