- I have a similar problem, only my third serial line at ttys2 is
- displayed, but all three work fine. Could it be a problem with the chip
- detection?

- I also saw (while looking at some code) that lp.c is designed to catch
- "out of paper" errors, but it doesn't. That is however no new problem.
- I know that I must have different printer port than the author, because
- once there were problems with detection giving a different code too.
- Later the detection condition was changed so that it worked. Does
- anybody else have that problem?
