  31. If you know you are going to want to run emacs in "text" mode and in it's
  32. own window in X, you can simply remove your normal 'emacs' executable and
  33. rename x11emacs to 'emacs' -- emacs will then try to create a window for
  34. iteself if your DISPLAY environment variable is set, otherwise will run in
  35. "text" mode in the current window/virtual console.
