- If you know you are going to want to run emacs in "text" mode and in it's
- own window in X, you can simply remove your normal 'emacs' executable and
- rename x11emacs to 'emacs' -- emacs will then try to create a window for
- iteself if your DISPLAY environment variable is set, otherwise will run in
- "text" mode in the current window/virtual console.
