- EFS is quite stable right now. I have a 130 Meg EXTFS usr partition
- that I have been using for about 5 weeks now. I use it extensively
- without any problems. No corruption etc. However its performance
- leaves a lot to be desired. It operates at abut 25-30% efficiency
- when compared to the Minix FS. When writing large files (~4-8Meg)
- it loads the system very heavily locking out other foreground
- processes for periods of upto 40 secs or so.
