- Linus said something about changing select() in 0.98.4 and breaking
- emacs because of it. I guess this would be the problem? I get the same
- error wth emacs and 98.4. I think the solution is to recompile emacs.
-
- I am looking for an example of configuration files for emacs. I would
- greatly appreciate it if someone could tell me where i can get a
- config.h, m-linux.h and s-linux.h for GNU emacs, any version will do.
-
- I also got some messages about using an old stat() when i tried 98.4.
- They told me to recompile. Does that mean the for now the old stat
- still works? Are the programs giving me the warnings actually broken
- or can i still use them safely while updating?
-
- thanks,
