- Most likely, your aliases file is world writable. Smail doesn't allow
- files or commands to be listed in world writable aliases files. You can
- either change your aliases file, or you can change smail to allow world
- writable files. To change smail to allow world-writable files, copy the
- source file samples/generic/directors to /usr/lib/smail/directors and
- edit it as you see fit for other localized changes. In the aliases
- director, set "modemask=0" rather than the current "modemask=002".
