  26. The first place I would suggest you call is someone like Cleo
  27. Communications.  Last I knew, they do boards and APIs for most protocols 
  28. and BSC 3270 is something I tested with them a couple of years ago.  
  29. Sorry, I don't have the phone number readily available (it's at work).

  31. Regarding modems, it will of course depend in part on those being used at 
  32. the host.  The basic requirement is that it support SYNCHRONOUS 
  33. transmission.  Speeds and duplex characteristics will depend in part on 
  34. how the whole thing gets configured in the end and the limitations of 
  35. either the host or the pc board.

  37. I haven't seen anything recently that is dedicated to BSC3270.  Most of 
  38. the James Martin books that pertain to data communications do a fair job 
  39. of covering BISYNC but seem to go into real detail about 3270.  Maybe the 
  40. people you eventully get hardware from can suggest something.  
  41. Alternatively, if all else fails, I may be able to type something for you 
  42. that covers my experience with it.
