  11.   I am curious as to how easily a modem line could be tapped.  I read on
  12. sci.crypt that there are problems in tapping a fast modem with error
  13. correction.
  14.    Apparently it is no problem to tap a 300-2400baud modem.  I read that
  15. it is possible to tape record the phone line and then play the tones back into
  16. a modem, is this really possible??
  17.
  18.    I would really appreciate any thoughts/ comments etc.
  19. Best Wishes,
  20. Henry.
