- Sorry if this is a FAQ....
-
- I have an application where I will need to connect a PC to a mainframe
- with BISYNCH running through modems over a leased line.
-
- I am woefully ignorant about BISYNC.
-
- Can anyone:
-
- 1.) Recommenad a board that I can put in the PC that understands BISYNCH?
- I am writing software (u-soft and C++) that will communicate with
- the board, so the programmable interface is important. Cheap would
- be nice
-
- 2.) provide ome advice on what I need in the way of modems?
-
- 3.) Recommend a good BISYNCH primer. 3rd grade level
- would be nice and probably appropriate.
-
- Many thanks.

-
- In case someone notices the return address: Yes - Amdahl understands
- BISYNCH. I don't, and I don't work for the communications division.
- And this is not a Amdahl project. It is for personal gratification.
- (Ok, I gratify easily :-))
