  13. I just got a used Microcom AX/9600 Plus modem without the manual. Can
  14. someone please give me some tips on how to set this thing up to connect at
  15. 9600cps? In playing with the dip switches I was able to get it to show
  16. messages on the screen and respond to hayes commands but when it connects
  17. it always says CONNECT 2400/REL instead of 9600. What is 2400/REL and how is 
  18. it different from plain 2400? The text on the screen seems to be jerky, stops
  19. and starts alot compared to my 2400 Zoom modem. Also, the HS light on the 
  20. modem is on so I would think it should connect at 9600cps, but no luck. Any
  21. help is greatly appreciated.
