- the answer is "yes." Apple does set standards for connectors, which
- every company that makes peripherals to attach to a Mac should be
- aware of.

- People have used DIN plugs exactly the same as an AT keyboard DIN plug
- to power peripherals for some time -- but it would be really, really
- stupid to use one to supply power to a device intended to attach to
- a PC.

- Being aware of the standards of your market is a basic business and
- technological requirement.

- USR screwed up. Instead of making it hard to make a basic error
