- INITIAL CALL FOR PAPERS

- FIRST CANADIAN CONFERENCE ON FPGAS

- SCOPE OF CONFERENCE:
-
- The goal of the First Canadian Workshop on FPGAs is to provide a forum
- for a discussion on design and applications of field programmable
- arrays. It is hoped that this forum will be conducive to the exchange
- of ideas between the academic and industrial communities.

- To facilitate this exchange, opportunity will be given to major industrial
- leaders to pass on their latest developments to their colleagues in
- both the industrial and academic community.

- A number of hands on workshops will be available so that designers
- will be able to form comparisons of todays technologies, devices,
- and design tools.

- UNIVERSITY PROGRAMS:

- Universities will have the opportunity to show the results of their
- FPGA activities in education as well as research. This can either
- be in the form of poster demonstrations or presentation.

- SUBMISSION OF PAPERS:

- Initial submissions of papers should be limited to ten pages including
- titles pages and figures. The final submission of a paper should
- be in a camera ready format. Initial submission deadline is February 1, 1993.
