  15. It could be a vacuum leak or valves out of adjustment.  You should
  16. put a vacuum gauge on the engine to rule out those possibilities.

  18. I think the fuel pump is an electric one which is back by the gas
  19. tank, not under the hood.  Not sure what the sound you are hearing
  20. is, especially since you can here it when the engine is not running.
