- New shocks: the accepted test is to rock the bumpers up and down
- (as much as possible) with your foot, and count how many up-down
- cycles the car makes after you stop pushing. More than 2 or 3
- indicates weak shocks.

- Alignment: Uneven wear on the front tires, where the wear is
- concentrated on one side of the tire or the other. (Most other
- uneven wear problems indicate over- or under-inflated tires.)
