  10. The cam on my wife's '86 Chevette is in dire need of replacement.
  11. Assuming that more or less the same amount of money is involved in
  12. each case, which avenue would be the easiest:

  14. 1 - Get a used replacement head from the auto wrecker and replace
  15.     the whole head; or
  16.  
  17. 2 - Get a replacement camshaft and replace just it.
  18.  
  19. I'll do whichever is easier.  Anybody got any practical experience on this?
  20. I forgot to mention I'd do all this myself - always have.
