  11.   I've been working with Apple to try and get an installation problem with 3.0
  12. resolved.  So far, they have got the software to install, but there are runtime
  13. erro messages that come up.  ANd when I try to do the installation on another
  14. drive of the same size/model I get an error message (bunch of them actually):

  16. Disk write c0d0s0 Error: SCSI Timeout
  17. Logical Block 48, physical blocks 648351-648414
  18. scsitask: unrecognized message 0x1
  19.  
  20. This happens during the partition change of a UNIX slice or when the UNIX
  21. installer says that it is Initializing UNIX filesystems...
  22.  
  23. Sometimes I get a message about a successful retry.

  25. The people at Apple have been nice, but I'm no closer to getting the problem
  26. resolved than I was 8 weeks ago.

  28. Yes the bus is terminated properly.  I've tried everything imaginable and 
  29. spent many hours on this.  What should I try now?  I have read the FAQ list
  30. concerning installation woes.
