- I've been working with Apple to try and get an installation problem with 3.0
- resolved. So far, they have got the software to install, but there are runtime
- erro messages that come up. ANd when I try to do the installation on another
- drive of the same size/model I get an error message (bunch of them actually):
-
- Disk write c0d0s0 Error: SCSI Timeout
- Logical Block 48, physical blocks 648351-648414
- scsitask: unrecognized message 0x1
-
- This happens during the partition change of a UNIX slice or when the UNIX
- installer says that it is Initializing UNIX filesystems...
-
- Sometimes I get a message about a successful retry.
-
- The people at Apple have been nice, but I'm no closer to getting the problem
- resolved than I was 8 weeks ago.
-
- Yes the bus is terminated properly. I've tried everything imaginable and
- spent many hours on this. What should I try now? I have read the FAQ list
- concerning installation woes.
-
- Help! HEEEEEEEEEELLLLLLLPPPPPP!
