  12. I'm relatively new to Unix and brand new to A/UX 3.0.

  14. I'm having problems setting up a modem on tty0 to be used for multiple
  15. purposes (dial-in, dial-out and SLIP).    If a user dials in far enough to
  16. execute sh or some other program, and if the modem connection drops, the
  17. user stays logged in forever.  Is there a way in A/UX to force the parent
  18. process on a port to be terminated if a modem signal is lost?

  20. I've downloaded the BNU 1.16 stuff but haven't installed it yet.  Will this
  21. help solve this problem or am I missing something else.
