  13. Well, I have to reboot about three times per week, for lack of 
  14. knowledge - when I have some work to do  in root, (having logged in 
  15. on the graphical level) whenever I log back into my usual account,
  16. apps hang on startup. I have checked permissions on the directories
  17. and executables - seem fine. Apps like Librarian hang when started in
  18. root. Yet the permissions are global, I believe. Rebootong is not
  19. a pain, but not pleasant. BTW I'm running NS 2.2
