  16. ╚be more than happy to live with on a 68030-based color Mac (I do fine
  17. ╚with 5 megs of memory and 80 megs of HD).

  19. Well, for the cost of your machine(assuming it's a Mac][ci), you could have a
  20. 486DX 50Mhz, 32Megs RAM and, say, a half Gig HD...that's the equal of a really
  21. serious Quadra, except twice as fast and four times the basic memory and more
  22. disk space...
  23.      I just bought a 386DX 33Mhz 8MegsRAM 336Meg HD with Trackball, Fax/Modem,
  24. Math Co-Processor, and SVGA for a little over 2G's...that's more of a machine
  25. right there than my Mac][ci which has 160MegHD, 5MegsRAM an '030, is 25Mhz, and
  26. cost over twice as much( with a mere VGA...)
  27.      So obviously hardware cost isn't a factor if comparing the Mac to
  28. Win/NT...unless you really want Mac to look bad...
