  31. }    What will Windows NT cost?  I doubt that it will be as low as what
  32. }Windows 3.1 and OS/2 are currently selling for.  With the multitude of
  33. }enhancements added as well as multi-platform support, I don't even want
  34. }to speculate on the price.

  36. I've heard that it should have a suggested retail price of somewhere between
  37. $300 and $500 for single-user. This may change by the time NT ships, and I
  38. would expect MS to have a "special" short-term introductory price (kinda like
  39. what they've started doing with upgrades -- buy now [as in "within the next
  40. two months"] and save a whole $30 off the cost of upgrading to Excel '92 and
  41. be the first to discover its "features" -- or upgrade later and pay the full
  42. amount ["features" still included]).
  43. I'd rather have a Mac.
