  11. I have a feeling that I'm overlooking something simple, but I am
  12. having trouble getting a Bitfax modem to autoanswer.  We got it
  13. about a year ago, but didn't get around to setting it up until
  14. now. In the meantime, we lost the manual.

  16. I've loaded the RECVFAX into background memory, on autoanswer,
  17. and tried using Alt-Y in Procomm, but in neither case will it
  18. pick up the phone.  Do I have to reset dip switches to have it do
  19. so?  (This is a Dell PC compatible, which requires unscrewing the
  20. cover to get at the boards, so I'm not eager to crack it open
  21. until I know.)
