- For a easy-to-read but informative summary of the EISA bus system,
- see the article "Join the EISA Evolution" by M. Whang and J. Kua
- in Byte, May/90, pp.241-247. To reiterate, NO, using ISA cards in
- an EISA bus system DOES NOT impede the operation of EISA transfers.
- If that were actually the case, what would be the point of maintaining
- ISA-compatibility in the EISA system if it cripples the improved
- transfer modes?
