  13. Yo !
  14. This is the deal, a few weeks ago I bought my father an old 286
  15. without a harddisk. I also got him a HD and controller card but ....
  16. I've tried to install, configure, or what you call it, but it refuses
  17. to work. The HD is OK (checked), the controller card is OK (not checked)
  18.  The 286 is a SPERRY and it's a kind of funny pc. 
  19. It will only boot on a special dos 3.3 from commodore.
  20. Anyway, the HD is a miniscribe model 3425, the card is an adaptec ACB2002
  21. and the pc is thus a SPERRY 286. When I try to configure it it
  22. gives me the message - ERROR READING FIXED DISK.
  23. Is there anyone that have any ideas ?
