- When you purchase the JetDirect card for the Laser, there is an option to
- get the "support" software for an s[3478]00. It has all the instructions for
- integrating it into the regulr HPUX spooler system. Takes about 15 minutes
- to get it all going.

- Actually, the software is pretty straightforward - all it essentially does
- is open a socket to the IP address and tcp port number assigned to the printer
- (you do this though bootp), and then "pour" your bytes down the pipe to the
- printer.
