- Aside from the benefits of the Falcon, the ability to get experience
- programming the 56000 at home on my MUSIC computer does sound
- appealing.
-
- My 1040 ST has served my needs (since I put 4 megs in
- although I am short on hard disk space) pretty well since
- I have lots of toys to play with at work (VME, SUN, SGI, ...)
- and it has to lure me away from my guitar at home.
-
- Personally, I haven't been bothered by the "lack of software"
- for the ST. I have more software than I can use thanks to
- the Atari user community and I can program it myself if I
- really need it.
-
- But I find the Falcon increasingly appealing, because of its
- musical features, just like the ST was five or six years ago.
-
- So count me as probable (might wait for a '40 version, but
- then again I might not since a '30 is a bit slicker than a
- 68000 @ 8 MHz)
