- HEllo people -its feiges here
-
- WEll, I own an apple IIGS and I also own a 9600 baud modem.... I
- also have a computer account for my courses here at UW Madison....
-
- Anyways, I was real interested in using EMACS to do my editing instead
- of vi... But, you see, emacs requires the use of the meta key to
- enter in certain commands.... .And the GS has no meta key like the
- workstations in the lab have....
-
- I have proterm 3.0 - Is there any way to emulate the meta key in
- proterm 3.0????? Is there another terminal program I can get that can
- emulate the meta key????
-
- I know you can simulate the meta key with like a control-c or
- something (or was that control-x??) but I would much rather emulate
- it directly like a control or an open-apple key....
-
- please get back to me...
