- I wouldn't go spreading stuff like that. From Amazing computing,
- the only thing that has been reported, as a rumor,
- is CBM is thinking about releasing a 640x480 8-bit
- graphics chip for the Amigas. I can believe that.
- CBM has never made moves like the one you suggest and
- they probably never will.

- In the PC world people are talking about 586's even though there is
- no proof that there is a 586, but people are talking.

- Right now, I could find you a Intel based machine that
- would have all the things you mentioned for about 2000
- bucks, only using a 33mhz 486 and a local bus ( which is
- synced with the CPU running it).
