- From what I've heard, the speed of OS/2 on a 386/25 (is this an
- SX or a DX?) is very reasonable. This is a *very* subjective issue,
- though! The speed will not be as good as it is with DOS/Windows,
- but you won't get as many crashes, either. The 8 M of memory will
- help a lot. Whether to spend you're hard-earned money on a new
- motherboard or a graphics accelerator is really up to you. There
- are no ATI drivers available yet for the Ultra or Vantage, but
- these video cards are 8514/a compatible. The drivers for 8514/a
- come with OS/2, and make the video at 1024x768 256c very fast! An
- ATI Graphics Vantage can be bought for less than $250 mail order.
