- I'm having a very interesting problem that I hope someone else has
- experienced and knows the solution.
-
- I have a OAK tech. 256K VGA card. The drivers that come w/ my card
- to do 800x600 are for Windows 3.0 . When I was running 3.0, 800x600 worked
- fine. However, when I run the standard 800x600 driver that comes with 3.1
- I have a strange problem. 800x600 works fine, expect when I shell to DOS
- or run a NON-windows app. When I run the App. or shell to DOS the computer
- switches and executes the app fine, however, when I try to switch back to
- Windows it completely locks my computer up.
-
- When I try this in 640x480 it works fine. When I try this in 800x600
- in Standard mode it works fine. It only messes up in 800x600 in Enhanced
- mode. Does anyone know what's going on??? My card has a version of 2.15
- if that helps anyone.
-
- Any help would be greatly appreciated...
