- The 3.1 drivers that come with the ATI are known to be buggy but ATI
- kept them out there because of overwhelming demand for some kind of
- 3.1 drivers. They exhibit the symptoms you describe with random hangs etc.
- I switched back to the Sounblaster 1.0 drivers and have never had
- any problems with them. If you are, perhaps your card is faulty or you
- have an IRQ conflict somewhere. Try using the IRQ and port address in
- Windows that is suggested when you run the ATI install program.
