- Yes - I wrote one. Its called xfm (X File Manager). There doesn't seem
- to be much call for these for X windows though - most people seem to
- prefer the command line (me included :). Its pretty good though, a bit
- like the program manager/file manager combination for MS Windows. You
- can have loads of windows open, each one displaying either a tree,
- icons or text display, and move/copy files between them. All the usual
- operations are supported - renaming, changing permissions etc. The
- application manager lets you launch programs from icons, and load files
- into applications by dragging them over.
