- I'd suspect a problem with the disk parameters. Please compare the output
- of DPARAM.COM and the contents of /etc/lilo/disktab. There could also
- problems with the partition offset (also in /etc/lilo/disktab), though
- if only this is wrong, it should at least get to the "I" of "LILO" and
- crash then.

- For the curious: "LIL" means, that the second stage boot loader has been
- successfully started and "LILO" indicates, that it has been able to read
- the image descriptor sector and is now awaiting keyboard input.
