- I had this problem with shutdown in the mcc-interim package until I ran the
- 'ctrlaltdel' program in /etc/rc. Since I did that, it stopped hanging and
- reboots properly.

- So, the answer is to do 'ctrlaltdel hard' sometime before the reboot.
