- This is directed to CSPT@giraffe.ru.ac.za, but may be of interest
- to all Modula-2 enthusiasts ...

- Here's what Roger Carvalho says about FST Modula-2 version 3 (I got
- this directly from the FST BBS in Texas, on September 12, 1992) ...
-
- Sorry for the continued delay. The release 3 code is now finished
- and fully tested -- I encountered a few problems last week during
- regression testing...
-
- The documentation has been updated, although the chapter on OOP
- still needs work. Monday I will e-mail my OOP documentation to Pat
- Terry for his review (he does not know it yet!); I will be going
- out of town tuesday. I doubt that I will need more than 2 or 3 days
- to fix the OOP documentation, once I receive Pat's feedback.
-
- What all this means is that there will be a release 3.0 by the end
- of next week!
-
- You may start sending your checks :-)...

- FST-M2 v3 adds OOP, with single inheritance. This makes an already
- excellent shareware compiler even nicer.
-
- The registration/fee for FST-M2 v3 is US$50, which includes mailing
- to anywhere in the world. Registered users of earlier versions may
- upgrade to v3 for US$10. The FST mailing address is...

- Fitted Software Tools
- P.O. Box 867403,
- Plano, Texas 75086,
- U.S.A.
-
- The FST BBS number is (214)-517-4629 (they use PCBoard v11.8a/S).

-
- I'm now on FidoNet, with access to their Modula-2 conference. If
- you're there too, do drop me a "Hello."
