- Thanks for the many kind comments, but I'm afraid I disagree with you here.
- I've always disliked T: T; and such. My attitude is that the programmer
- should not need to know if he is writing for a resident or a metacompiled
- environment (with the possible exception of certain compiler directives such
- as ORG). At least five metacompilers that I've used (polyForth, LMI, MPE,
- Pygmy, and my own) have no problem using ``:'' for target words.
