- No, it won't work 'just fine'. My first go with Stacker srewed up
- completely after a few weeks of use. I bravely reinstalled my programs and
- all went well for a couple of months. Then, out of the blue, my D: drive
- became write-protected. Since Stacker treats his own drives as harddisks
- you can't force this through DOS-commands. Only after long sessions with
- PC-shell (which luckily was on C:) I managed to save the lot of my
- programs. Then I quickly removed my Stacker-drive, and tossed it out of the
- window (good thing it was a virtual drive :-).
-
- Now, I'm using SuperStor, which comes with DR-DOS (Digital Research) 6.0,
- and have yet to encounter my first problem.....
- BTW, SuperStor takes up far less space than Stacker.
