- Well, I finally solved the problem thanx to all the net.wisdom.
- Here's what I did...
- Since I couldn't unzip on the floppies (thery're only 1.44s), I
- copied the three zip files to the hard drive.
- unzipped one zip file at a time with the -d option and then copied the
- respective files and subdirectories back to the floppy.
- (of course I had to remove the .zip file from the floppies.)
- Then I installed with pinstall from the floppy.
- Everything went well except that I had to tweak my autoexec.bat a bit.
- Docs say PADS needs 640K to run. I've got a couple of drivers loaded that
- take up some of that space so I'm down to 550 or so. It still works.
