  23. Someone I know is a district manager at Circuit City and he
  24. recommended NOT to buy the extended warrenty, because it's
  25. usually not necessary.  It is very lucrative for Circuit City
  26. and that is why they have this high pressure sales approach.
  27. I dislike Circuit City very much for this reason and only
  28. go there as a last resort.

  30. I did purchase an extended warrenty on a car once.  Luckily I
  31. never had to use it, but it made the sale when I sold that car.
