- I've never had a problem using my PC with any modem
- and Procomm s'ware. I would like to use my X-Windows
- equipped RS6000 and a modern fax-modem. Currently I'm stuck
- with an old Hayes Smartmodem and ATE, and having a great deal
- of difficulty dialing in, dialing out. I'm sure that 90% of
- the problem is my ignorance of tty's, penable, pdisable, etc,
- because my SE can come in here and make it work.
-
- I'm looking for help in either of the following:
- 1 - Recommendation for a set up that will work as easily
- as my PC with Procomm
- 2 - Instructional reference that will be more helpful
- that INFOXPLORE.

- Rich.
