  12. I've never had a problem using my PC with any modem
  13. and Procomm s'ware.  I would like to use my X-Windows 
  14. equipped RS6000 and a modern fax-modem.  Currently I'm stuck
  15. with an old Hayes Smartmodem and ATE, and having a great deal
  16. of difficulty dialing in, dialing out.  I'm sure that 90% of 
  17. the problem is my ignorance of tty's, penable, pdisable, etc,
  18. because my SE can come in here and make it work.
  19.  
  20. I'm looking for help in either of the following:
  21. 1 - Recommendation for a set up that will work as easily
  22.     as my PC with Procomm
  23. 2 - Instructional reference that will be more helpful
  24.     that INFOXPLORE.
