- Multiple resource controllers are a symptom when you are trying to write to
- non-existant serial devices. This can happen if/when your 64-port controller
- goes south or is misconfigured, as well as if you have a missing or part-time
- console device.

- The major bummer is that without the srcmstr, you can't do a normal shutdown,
- ergo, you end up at some point powering down and hoping for the best...
