- I don't know what your configuration is, so I'll sort of gargle out what I
- know about this, which really aint much.

- If you have just a PC/Mac sitting off a serial port of some Unix box, then
- all you have to do is turn the port on for logins, and when you enter kermit,
- set the speed right (9600 baud, etc) and make sure the bits are all okay, then
- type c (I think) to connect, and it should give you a connection. Then just
- type as you normally would at some terminal.

- If you are using Kermit with a modem, then you need to connect to another
- modem on the other end. Luckily for me, I have a large university which
- does this for me, so I can log in from home.
