- Ok, this may be a FAQ. If so, please e-mail me the place where I can
- find the information (ftp site, etc...)
-
- I just bought a Powerbook 100 and I want to find out a bit about the
- battery and sleep before I screw the thing up.
-
- 1) What is the recommended way to get the most life (in years) out of the
- battery?
- Is it better to leave the PB plugged in all of the time to keep the
- battery topped up. Or should it only be recharged when the battery is
- semi-low? (I know not to discharge it ALL the way. That is bad). If it
- is advisable to only recharge the battery when low, and since the
- battery gets recharged while the machine is in use under AC power, should
- the battery be "disconnected" while the machine is running under AC power?
-
- 2) How is "sleep" mode different from Shutdown (in terms of portability).
- What happens if you always "sleep" the machine rather than shut it down.
- Can I move the machine while it is in "sleep"? Thanks
-
-
- E-mail please, I'll summarize....
